The RESTORY consortium will meet in Athens, Greece, from 26 to 28 October 2026 for its next Consortium Meeting, bringing together project partners to review the progress made so far, exchange insights from the different areas of work, and plan the final stages of the project.
The three-day programme will combine project discussions with cultural and community-based activities. Check the full agenda here!
On 26 October, partners will take part a series of roundtables reflecting the main areas of work within the project. Discussions will address collaboration, research and innovation within RESTORY; written and oral heritage research in small communities; training for the research, interpretation and sharing of community heritage; dissemination and public engagement; and approaches for transferring knowledge and returning heritage to the communities that produce and manage it.
On 27 October, the consortium will continue its work through a RESTORY cultural event and further project exchanges, while 28 October will focus on the cultural event in Nea Smyrni, connecting the project’s research and community engagement activities with the local context.
The Athens meeting will give partners an opportunity to connect the different strands of RESTORY’s work, reflect on emerging results, and strengthen links between research, heritage interpretation, public engagement, and the communities at the heart of the project.
